The Aegis Hero 2 : compact and comfortable to hold

After the success of the Aegis Hero, Geekvape is back with the Aegis Hero 2, a pod that goes further than its predecessor.

This new version has dimensions of 121.9 x 49.17 x 33 mm. It is therefore a device of reduced size and easily transportable.

Secondly, this Aegis Hero 2 / H45 has a metal frame that is more resistant to shocks and scratches. It also has a handle with a pleasant coating for the hands. Compactness, portability, grip and comfort are all achieved in a pleasant looking device.

A technicality to be praised

This new version of the Aegis Hero has a built-in 1400mAh battery, 200mAh more than the Aegis Hero 1. This means we are looking at a long lasting battery, one that will last for a full day. A USB Type-C cable is provided for charging.

The Aegis Hero 2 is also capable of delivering a maximum power output of 45W. It is equipped with a system that stabilises the power – even when the battery is low – which helps the flavour to come through.

This model offers 2 operating modes, namely :

• VW mode (variable power between 5 and 45W)
• Bypass mode

Secondly, Geekvape has equipped this pod with a 0.96″ colour TFT screen. In addition to facilitating the setting, this screen communicates to the user information necessary for a good vape, including the power, the value of the coil, the remaining battery level, the selected mode or the number of puffs. In addition, the new interface has a better layout than the first Aegis Hero.

Finally, electronic protections are present while the box accepts coils with a value between 0.1 and 2 ohms.

A 4 ml cartridge

The Aegis Hero 2 / H45 kit is equipped with a 4 ml cartridge with magnetic connection. It is easy to fill from the top, with no leaks. Simply remove the silicone cap that covers the filling hole. As for the drip tip, it is a 510 and, as for the airflow, it can be adjusted to allow the choice between DL or RDL. It should be noted that 2 lateral air inlets optimise the quality of the airflow. The restitution of flavours is even better.

Finally, this cartridge is compatible with Geekvape B coils. 2 are provided :

• A B coil with a value of 0.4 ohm and pre-installed (25-35W)
• A 0.6 ohm B coil (15-25W)
